my 4th singing lesson!

So last week and the week before I skipped singing due to easter holiday and being sick with bad throat, but today I was back!
Nan, who stayed over last night dropped me there and picked me up which was great considering it was cold and rainy. I also hadn't charged up my trekker so will have to make sure I do that next week.
Today we completed the warm-up dipthong exercises, which, she says, doesn't happen every time. we just go up the scale of singing the vowls in one note and that's them over! She said we'd get on to singing when I'd asked her if her previous student had sung many songs after working with her ten years! I guess she'd concluded that I wanted to get into some singing soon, which, she was right. Lol She assured me that it's definitely coming soon.
but we were working on note consistency which had to be done. It's not all as easy as that!
At the end, when we were talking about future song selection, i was telling her if she wants me to sing a particular song, if she can give me the music in advance, and I can get it brailled. Otherwise songs I choose myself, I can get lyricks off the net, and possibly backing tracks!
So yeh, again, singing went quite well, and I'm looking forward, already to it next week.
Her place is for sale though, just as I'd figured out how to get there meself! Let's hope she moves this way, or at least, near a train or tram again, preferably train would be good! Lol
Nan just left after some lunch, and i'm now chilling with my heater on (man it's cold!) and I might get stuck into my red-tulip bunny today; mmmmm baby!
tomorrow is In the drivers Seat. hope weather is good enough in the morning when my drive is.
