LIFE IN CARTOON MOTION
Apr. 17th, 2008 11:45 amSo Mika has been making me feel all warm and fuzzy! -- I was able to finally get the albumn, after wanting it, ever since I heard the first song last year while in the U.K. My wonderful friend (whom I don't catch up with enough these days and therefore, miss her like heck),
louise_1985 introduced me to his music. And I guess she wasn't intending on it; "GRACE KELLY" was playing in the car one time and I absolutely fell in love with it straight away! actually, the song played several times while I was there. I think i've heard it here about once, but anyway ..!
When I was in Cornwall, I heard it on the English version of "so you think you can dance" (think it was that anyway!)
then, when I got back to Lou's, I was introduced to a few more of the songs, and, well .. liked them, not loved them as much as the first track!
But I finally have the albumn now, and remember only vaguely hearing a few of the other tracks. As I say, Mika doesn't seem that popular here, though to be honest, I very rarely do listen to any FM station now; so I could be in fact, totally wrong; it's happened before! Lol :)
It's very rare, (except from celine Dion), that I will like an entire albumn, but, I think Mika is, da bomb! I think they have a lot of talent, and that seems rare for me to think like that with artists/bands these days! This albumn just makes me feel really good! The songs; their melodies, their lyrics, the upbeat tempos, blows me away!
Now off to do some shopping!
