Today I spent $145; just then on a PT-82 which I thought I shouldn't pass up because the item is in Australia; perfect for once! and secondly, upon trying to resist, the description on above site was very thorough and I thought it sounded cool, especially the rating audio which caught my attention. and, since collecting these things are now my expensive hobby, who knows if I'd come across this model again! But I swear I'm going to be good for a few months! Lol? yes, Lol!
Earlier I had lunch with M. we went to Mystys again, and it was cool! I also bought some poptarts, which I haven't experienced many of. I think I've had them once, years ago! so bought them and my usual bubbleicious bubblegum.
it was certainly a catchup which hadn't taken place in sometime due to the issues. I think overall, success, and I hope I can successfully say it's the first of many after our break, which we both concluded was hopefully a good thing in a lot of ways.
So there's my day!
Some would say I've fallen addicted! But I'd still maintain I'm simply doing what I would have enjoyed doing ages ago! -- I remember when I was young, all my friends would talk about collecting different things, and i felt left out as I had nothing i wanted to collect. So Mum chose it for me; she'd buy little bears for my shadowbox once in a while. But, though probably pleasant to the sighted eye, didn't really do a lot for me, even when I touched them.
I started collecting troll dolls for a while, (I thought they were funny, and they were certainly in), but at least now, I have found something that I can seriously enjoy, while feeling proud of how many different models I have accumilated; and they're really becoming collectors items, and will be worth a heck of a lot more in future, not that I plan to sell them then.
Since I had a hot meal at lunch, I won't have a lot for tea I don't think, maybe just some crackers with olive dip, (my fave scratchy kinda meal of late).
oh, I almost forgot, I did have an interesting experience on the way to meet M. I was at blackburn station, and this older guy started talking to me who explained that he was going to volunteer for that World Youth day. .. anyway, it wasn't long before the platform literally became full of people (whom I soon discovered were all french). Needless to say, the train was packed, and it was soo noisy. The French youth were constantly singing their native french songs, and clapping their hands in time.
This young French guy started talking to me. he said he was a young priest, who had come over for the event.
i couldn't get over how packed the train was!
Then, at Richmond station, work appeared to be getting done on one of the platforms, and the jackhammers were extremely noisy. I was glad to get on a quiet train.
Now, i am curious to try a poptart, so off I go.
Til next time, RdFreak
