the PT-82

Well, got the PT-82 today along with the "world" Rompack; in fact, it was exactly the same ROMpack that I heard as a demo from borrisinabox; not only that, but exactly the same sounding keyboard, as that was the PT-87. -- this brings my collection up to four casios and 11 ROMs.
As with the PT-87, the drums sound very unusual, not even drumbs but more like just a beat of some sort! -- I am surprised about that since the PT-50 has better quality drums, but I am not saying I don't like the "drums" on the PT-80 series; it's different, and I do like them for a change!
Again, as with the sK-8, it took me a while to figure out how to play the rOMs, and again, like the SK-8, we have to put the on/off switch down a few knotches and select from the numbered keys.
still haven't figured it all out yet.
I don't think this casio was used much, as the ROM door is still lovely and stiff! and the knobs are still pretty stiff! -- not sure how to work it all yet.
Work is still work; I'm not liking it more and more; I never know when someone is going to turn.
computer users was good last night; Mister AA (avid reader to this thing) and co did a great job on their presentation of the Apple and voiceover.
Next meeting is aGM where I'll be standing for secretary.
anyway, gotta go for Neighbours, BigBrother and food!

I can't decide to wash my hair tonight or tomorrow; if I wash it now, my hair will take a while to dry, and will therefore, quite possibly mean I will be laying in wet patches, but then, if I do it in the morning, I will have to get up early! -- This is one of the big decisions I am facing most nights these days, cos I need my sleep ins for as long as possible! -- OK I will do it tonight, then will hop straight into bed with my new electric blanket. wow, who thought life would be this hard?
