Time for a real update!
Dec. 14th, 2008 09:10 amI swear if my life was interesting right now, i'd post in here more often, because, I've never had a journal just to update occasionally, or on a weekly basis. However, all I've been doing is going to work, doing it for 7.5 hours (give or take a little :) then going home.
Since the office is behind the guards door, we still don't have much access to the outside world; this would have been the only benefit to staying in queen street, cos at lease we're surrounded by more people.
Anyway, .. I have been chatting to the guards occasionally and of course, it's been fun workin with Tez for five weeks!
RB and dean will come back tomorrow but rB will come back, not daily yet, but gradually starting at two days this week, and slowly working up to more hours.
It's been raining cats and dogs all weekend here. Actually we've had the highest rainfall in three years. This is definitely welcomed by many, including myself of course, but it makes moving anywhere outdoors extremely difficult.
Mum gave Heartly and i a lift to the vet yesterday where she had her well-over-due vaccinations as well as a general checkup. She's still going really well; no complaints at all!
Last night I went to mum's for tea and she cooked roast pork and vegies. Pork has not been eaten often by yours truly (I hate that phraze but anyway ... :) because dad doesn't eat it.
A pleasant meal was had by both of us including her to-die-for crispy potatoes!
We then watched a couple of docos on Optus Vision including "KATE PLUS 8" WHICH I FOUND fascinating! I've always been fascinated by large families.
Then Mum cut my fringe and dropped me home.
Dad arrives home on Thursday for three weeks which of course will be very exciting.
And lastly, trippletalk has its value set to 0 on the "raise pitch on capital letters" meaning, that, i think, part of this entry had the caps on, but, ah well, must go and fix this; the jaws setting I mean. am not sure why, when i installed jaws 10, it did this, but ah well! ..
So rain is said to ease here today so hopefully I can rush over to safeway sometime.
til next time, RdFreak
