Dad Being Home ..

Having Dad home is fun, and it's like we're trying to make the most of his visit; well, I guess we are, but one shouldn't have to do that with their own father/husband; uncle/son etc.
Thursday night Ang and I went over to parents where Dad seemed very alert despite his being awake for two days straight. He cooked his vegetarian meal which was quite nice, but I just could not get use to the idea of going that way! meat is too much a part of every meal.
Friday night I ended up going over there as well, and he cooked vegetarian pizzas! -- he is so motivated with this vegan thing, although he will stray on christmas day.
Yesterday morning I went singing, then parents came over on their way home from market; they gave Heartly another bag of her smaccos, which you can get cheap in bulk there.
This morning i met up with P for breakfast at Pumkins, then I walked back with him and ducked into Ang' house. She ended up driving me back home, then driving to Mum's place for an internet session; she took Heartly with her for a bath.
tomorrow, at long last, i am going to see a guy to organize my tax stuff; Dad needs to go anyway, and I thought I really should get around to doing it. So, first time for me! -- then will go to 227 with the boys. Will then go to B's as she's having a christmas get-together singing carrols and all that; shall be good fun!
Three days before christmas!
Oh, in my lovely big oven sits a tray with a chicken Kiev, and little potatoe wedges which I will look forward to baked at 8.
Ang just dropped Heartly home on her way back herself.
