in the sun

well I am quite annoyed because I have been having problems connecting my m-power to particular public wifi. I have been able to connect to a few, but that's just with the default settings. There doesn't seem to be a way of simply connecting to a public server without going through the questions, as with a standard computer! why do gthese blindy-specific products have to be so difficult?!
yes, I know, my friends are right when they always question me on my purchase of this crap! I should have got a laptop!
I am on Dad's laptop using good old satogo again, but this week, he goes to work and needs it, so it means I haven't got net access, and I could be coming here to the marina and checking email! *grrr
anyway, I am sitting in the sun outside starbucks next to the marina. it's nice out here. been about 29C each day.
yesterday we went to berDubai and had a boad ride on the creek. it was very crowded, and quite dirty in the area. Also, the indians have this fascination with tooting their car horns. so the air was full of car toots; it drove me insane.
Dad has walked back to get the car, and when I'm finished here, we are going to one of the malls so I can try and find me some better walking shoes.
apart from that, not sure yet. As I say, dad goes back to work tomorrow and I have no damn net access.
I leave for Frankfurt at 8.10 AM Thursday. going to call to see if

I got a laptop

well, subjectsays it all;I got a good little puter! one that connects to wirless when I need it too, and not just when it feels like it, Lol!
seriously, I was looking around at little notebooks today, and fell in love withh one. It will definitely be worth it! it was pretty cheat too.
not sure if I will sell my m-power, though I like it for the braille output, which is why I got it.
This little thing is an acer. I have never seen something so small! the keys are hard to type on, but easy enough to get use too.
K someone just sent me a message so will go and read it. another good thing; I can use normal programs. I think I have been put off b blindy technology! I will nowlisten to friends more!

P.S. Dad has gone to the supermarket. he will be needing to go back to work, but I can now come down and use this free wireless, thanks to starbucks! Lol! I think i will need to download jaws, so I can find the icon to connect to wireless, but once there, I can let the demo mode expire and go on to satogo.
