HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY
May. 10th, 2009 10:19 amWe already celebrated our Mothers day yesterday with the female portion of dad's family, as well as dinner at Mum's Friday night. So I'm here today.
I met baby Ike yesterday for the first time; he's sooo small. don't think I've actually seen a baby that small before, but then, don't think I've had the pleasure of holding one that young before; one month today!
He's also the quietest baby I've ever seen too; hardly cried or anything, just slept mostly; so so so cute!
Always get clucky when i see babies; I so want one or more of me own soonish.
Friday morning I got a call from the lovely ex, B, who parted ways with me oh-so-gracefully (not) christmas 2007. And he then (Friday) tries to tell me he was also hurt; um, does that exactly make sense?
Anyway, we had an OK kinda chat, though he still believes he knows everything! at least I'm ready for him now if he feels like trying that on me again!
He actually originally called up to first, *mostly agree (wow) with me with an email I'd written to a list about the seda incident with the dog's tail getting caught in the train doors; hmmm! Then he'd heard that I'd been sick, and since he'd assumed it was worse than it was, I filled him in.
Anyway, um, it's been a while since I'd written in here, mainly cos I wasn't in the right mood to write. Last week was usual work. RB and I went out for tea monday and J ended up meeting us at last minute. -- Hard situation there with rB and I! Despite what happens, it's no-one's business but ours!
Um, just work last week. haven't attempted to cook the ANZACs again yet.
I'm lending my old Braillenote to ramona's mum to see whether she wants to buy it. R's sister is coming around shortly to pick it up to take to their Mother's day gathering.
Think that's the main news for me. If I remember what else I wanted to say, will write in here again.
Oh, been starting to download movies again from BS, and yesterday it was quite fast. mannaged to download about five or six movies, which has certainly broken the record for a while!
