Well, I'm so excited, and i just can't hide it!
Tomorrow, tomorrow, I receive my iPhone.
I technically should have already had it. But tNT couriers delivered it here while I was at work Thursday. I'd wished I'd asked them to deliver it to work, but such is life! So yeh, it's been re-scheduled for tomorrow! And I'm pretty much all set!
Yesterday I completed my account setup on iTunes, which was very tedious with jaws, but, i mannaged it somehow!
And I have already downloaded a few accessable applications in readiness for tomorrow when my phone hopefully sinks successfully with iTunes after it's gone through all its activation procedures. I even figured out how to import music to the iTunes library, in readiness for sinking to the iPod, which is definitely not as hard as I'd originally thought it was going to be.
iTunes is cool in that it gives off a pleasant little asending chord when apps have been successfully downloaded and the music files/folders have successfully been imported! This is too cool! I want my iPhone now!
I've joined the iPhone list on google, and the more I write/read/listen about it, the more excited I am. The applications are very exciting, and there's so many of them!
Right now, i'm hanging out for a GPS application called Mobile navigator. There's one in the U.K (which will be very handy when I go there), and North america but not here yet. It's the answer to the GPS needs! So, I guess my trekker may become obsilete too!
In other news, (not that I can think/talk about much else at this stage), it has been extremely windy all last night and forecast much of today; like so windy, like, unbelievable really! 100 K in some places! There's forecast storms later.
Also yesterday Glenda told me she was having a clothes sail, so I told her I'd write to dJ on Buy swap and sell 3AW and let him know about it for her. Did that last night, and i tuned into hear him read it out!
Anyway, apart from hanging out for my phone, I'm just well .. hanging! Lol! And course singing yesterday went well!
I'm sure the iPhone learning curve will be a pretty big one, but at the same time, i'm confident I will get the hang of it, as the other blindies have. And the good thing is, apart from the very supportive list, the friends I have who already own it have all offered their help when needed.
Isn't this a change from being depressed about annoying relationship breakups?! As I'd said to the list yesterday, whoever thought this device could act as a therapudic tool as well? It's distracted me in a big way at just the right time! Thanks apple! :) Lol
