The simple words in life
Sep. 24th, 2009 10:44 amYesterday afternoon, I had a customer call me up an extra time to thank me for my help, as she was finally able to settle her issue.
She'd called and spoke to me about five times in about ten minutes as no-one she needed to speak to was available, and she needed resolution fast. So, I eventually told her I'd try all these other people and if one answered, would put her through and hope they could help; the last one did. So yeh, she called and thanked me. "No problem at all; it's what I'm here for" I replied.
"Have a great day" she said with much enthusiasm. "you too,"I replied with a smile on my face.
I would have gone to that much trouble for anyone else; in fact, I certainly had done so when necessary.
Maybe my ungrateful boss needs to hear these type of calls! ah well, not to worry; I'm leaving soon! :)
This is a cliche though, but a simple "thank you" can make someone's day.
