Well yesterday I didn't stop; I washed clothes, I separated my meat order and put them in freezer bags (took about three quarters of an hour). went and did my big shop as well as taking myself to the doctor followed closely by racing home to pick up Heartly to take her to the vet and she got a bath. Heartly was fine, as always. But it was clear that her cataracts are getting worse; poor darling. the vet said that the hearing tends to also Deteriorate .
i've got a busy week next week. Meeting Ang Monday (didn't end up doing it thurs as it was stormy). Then VA Tues and Wednesday, then starting up mobility Thursday at forest Hill. Donna finally got back to me so we'll do that for a while and then the route to the family doctors.
Also, apparently there's a school reunion for my class of 98 being organized. Will see where it is; I'll most likely go if it's not at a pub; pubs are too noisy and alcoholy for me. I can't imagine it would be there though.
Also Dad is coming over to help me with my talking scales. I bought the battery for it yesterday but I'm not sure how to take the old one out; it's one of those nine vult ones attached to a wire that I don't know how to get off. It's not corroded, yeah!
I chopped some vegies up last night and today I cook; yeah! Looks like I’ll have working scales too which will be even better as I can follow the recipe exactly.
Life is not too bad right now though my little hands are like ice blocks as per usual for winter.

So far, the pasta Bake is progressing nicely. My kitchen talking scales do work now. turns out it was a bit corroded, but dad was able to fix that and get it workin again for me; how good is it? it's so cool actually! I can follow recipe's to the letter now!
So as I write this, I've got the mince, onions, tinned tomatoes, beef stock and capcicum simmering away. As soon as I finish this entry, I will be stirring in the cooked pasta, zucchini and peas, then transferring that to my casserole dish, sprinkle some cheese over top and put it in oven.

::edit:: 2.31: It's now in the oven and smelling absolutely devine! I wonder if I'll like the zucchini in it or not? Lol
anyway, can't believe it's all gone smoothly without a hastle; never done casseroles before.
P.P.S. I still have Heartly. I will have her all of next week as the work is still going on at parents. She'll be right though on the days I have to go out, which is like every day except tomorrow though we're going over to parents for dinner anyway. :)

Go me! it's out of the oven. possibly wasn't generous enough with the cheese, but that's OK; we live and learn. Next time, I will just go nuts, well more nuts than I did this time around, lol!
Now it's boosted my confidence. sure, i know things will possibly go wrong in future, but this is a great start! -- now what to bake next week? Decided to do something each week to continue building my confidence. :) this is fun! he he he!
