A bit of a medical concern

I feel like something is always going on with me medically; guess it's true.
I got a call from the doctors office before; she was the receptionist calling on behalf of Dr Lucas. She asked me for my permission to go ahead and make an appointment for me with the specialist at Mitcham private hospital because my blood test showed some level in one of my kidneys being a bit high. Being the receptionist, she didn't have much more info than that, so naturally it's got me very worried. I called my parents (who are coming back from Rye), and Mum said I should call back and ask to speak to the doc. But, as their office will be in touch with me soon, I said I might try and wait and then ask to be put through. If they don't call back today, I shall def call tomorrow.
I'm meant to have that other group interview tonight but of course, if I end up going in later today, i'll have to call and say I can't do it.
Anyway I didn't write this to worry anyone but naturally I'm going to use my journal for its purpose. -- Anyway whatever it is, it explains my tiredness.
Whenever anyone talks about medical issues to do with the kidneys, I automatically see red.
Anyway of course, will keep my LJ updated.
