rdfreakSo I was outside brushing Heartly and then pulling her hair out of the brush and got to thinking that imagine if I mannaged to keep some of her hair after she was gone, (not that I like thinking about it). And I got a bit creative and carried away from that point. Lol!
The sad Tails of Rachel D Freak
58-year old Rachel (insert last name here) was charged today on one account of cruelty to animals after police invaded her (insert location name here) home and found 8 puppy dog's tails all lined up in a row on top of her bed-side table. Each tail had a tag tied to it by a piece of string, and each tag had a series of dots stuck to it. Mrs Rachel (insert name here) explains that these dots are called "braille" and upon asking what it was, and then, what it said, Rachel ran her fingers across each tag in turn and read:
"heartly - 20/7/98 - 26/11/15",
"Milo - 1/5/14 - 2/8/29"
"Egaw - 2/7/26 - 12/9/39"
And what do they mean? we asked. "Well" sobbed Mrs rachel, "those were all my guide dogs. and these" she continued, stroking the dog's tails "were the tails that I cut off from each of my dogs when they died".
Do you currently have a guide dog?" we asked Rachel,
"Oh yes I sure do", she replied. Then she shouted "donut, come here!" And in ran a lovely golden Labradore.
"Oh wow!" we exclaimed, "and how old is this little fella?"
"She's a girl!" Rachel snapped back.
"Oh, I do apologize" I replied.
"She is 7", Rachel said.
"and let's see .. in about four or five years, Donut's tail will be in amongst this collection?" I asked, pointing to the table (upon realizing she couldn't even see the jesturing.
"Yes, indeed, though going by my previous dog's life spans, I hope it won't be for another ten years yet."
Rachel was then handcuffed and placed inside a utility.
"But but but I did nothing wrong," she sobbed. "I just wanted to remember my dogs and since I can't see photos, you know? and where will Donut go?"
"Oh, do not fear" said the red-headed policeman, "she will guard your prison cell!"
Rachel's partner declined comment.
