rdfreakthere was a plane crash in Neighbours tonight, and it's all so real. listening to the crying ans screaming, sounds so realistic! Everyone thinks I'm nutty but I really think the actors do such a good job of being real. Whether the argument is visual reasons, don't know.
I'm like "yeah and i'm flying in feb. do I still want too?" Lol of course I do! :)
But when I questioned my felo community members on the visual stuff that happened tonight, as usual I got some really good explanations! It's amazing really. even then ya can tell who has really picked up on my being blind and the exact info I missed out on (given the lack of verbal cues) versus those who kind of struggle more to give me the information that I don't already know.
It's with everything though. comes with Mobility instruction, occupational therapy, everything that needs extra verbal cues for a blindy. I always say it's something you're born with. It's a natural thing. some people are meant to be professionally trained but will never get it. It's just the way it is!
I took Heartly to the vet before. we did end up walking as Nan showed me again where I had to go. I have to go back friday morning and they'll take a sample of the lump so they can get it tested. I'm glad. will give me peace of mind.
How come I have become very happy and excited in the middle of this entry? Gee I hate these highs and lows but now I am feeling sooo excited and happy! my gosh, it's like someone has turned a switch on! damn this, or not!

Date: 2005-10-25 12:27 pm (UTC)I agree, it was an amazing episode. I was very real in many respects and I had goose bumps watching it. It was really dark picture and hard for me to see so I can't say how realistic it was but it seemed it to me. The only part that didn't seem real was Izzy on the phone - no Karl at the other end, no answering machine etc.
