the joy continues!

Well, as I've noticed a lot of my LJ friends saying lately "good times, good times!!!" It must be an American thing! Lol!
Mostly we get the American sayings (as with fashons and FADS and TV shows - and everything else) quite quickly but haven't noticed anyone around here saying that. oh well!
random: my backspace key has developped a squeak which I have just noticed, Lol!
anyway ... my news:
OK yesterday morning I created an email list for those peeps who attended RVIB Burwood. that seems OK so far.
And Mum, dad and a came to pick me up for the lunch i was talking about only, I got the story confused. We had arranged to go with the relos out for Melbourne cup day, not fathers day. so I'm like:
"Oh so Is Aunt J and all them coming all the way over to this side of town? that's unusual."
Dad: They aren't coming.
R: What??
Dad: You crazy mixed up kid (he always says that to us :)
R: what do you mean. the other day she was on the phone and ..."
Dad: that is cup day!
R: Oh (laugh laugh laugh)
Dad does the same.
Anyway lunch was nice. Mum, dad, A and myself went to Zigami's (Italian restaurant) and had the nicest ever pizza for ontray. Honestly I don't think I'd ever had one quite like it before! It was called seasa (excuse spelling) pizza and it had strips of ham, mushroom, egg and a slight bit of seasa sauce. man, I hadn't had such a nice pizza in my life!
Then main meal for me was tandurri pasta. it was tandurri chicken with slices of bacon and pasta and spinnich and this lovely creamy sauce. mmm! I love love love Italian food so much! our family is big on it!
Anyway after that, dropped a at Nox shopping centre and Mum and dad dropped me back here. came on here for a while then we had our first YBCV meeting. I, as secretary took minutes. this was all done over the phone with our lovely conferencing services. :) anyway that went for about an hour. I chatted further to a couple of friends over the phone can you believe it?? :) then i went to bed.
Today I transferred the minutes to my puter from my braille note and editted them and sent them to our list.
Then I got all annoyed because the president R asked me on list to send them to him to check in future. I got sooo annoyed because if that's what his new president (poshposh) style was going to be, he certainly didn't tell me that last night and damn well should have. would have saved my anger and confusion. But if it was because there were mistakes in the minutes, he could have written to me privately about them, as I'd asked. I had asked for feedback since I hadn't done them for a while. so yeah, to be honest that put me in a crap mood for the day. I hate it. i know I take things far too personally - way to heart - always have, but I expect people to do the right thing by me.
I was left wondering why I never seem to follow my natural instincts these days and thereby, agreeing to this secretary stuff again. it just causes too many problems for me! anyway! *sigh* one can only see what happens from here.
Oh I wrote the following email to my history teacher:
Hi s,
I was wondering if you were free any time Wednesday morning? If so, I was debating on whether I should come and talk to you about Friday's SAC. Even though I'm not counting on a miricle at this point, at least I might get something.
If you aren't free, do not worry because at this point, I'd rather the others have their opportunity.
Honestly I have concluded that this subject (together with lack of preferred format this year) is a lost cause for me, (no that's not meant to be a sob story; just trying to explain why I've given up with it)
But just wondering if you had any spare time?

Man I really didn't want her to think I was complaining, just telling her how it was; trying to make her see what was going on inside my head as on friday i walked out of class looking too calm, and I didn't even talk to her
Anyway haven't heard from her yet, but actually just remembers she doesn't work there on Mondays - that's why! Lol!

Today I did have a look at the news journal. it was interesting as I hadn't looked in that journal before. and I was able to see last year's news and all. The guy (man what's his name - who started it) sounds really cool! and this is such a cool idea! :) Seeing the developments have taught me a lot about how things are run! Boy I'd love to know how on earth so much stuff written a day can fit on all that space they have? I mean they must have to have endless amounts of space. I know they have heaps of servers!
Um, what else? I am usually more interesting. But before dad came over and we had another fight. It's all about this living-up-to parents - especially mum's high expectations and I'm jack of it. (go and find my unsent letter if anyone wants to know what I'm on about because I can't be stuffed going into it again).
that's about the latest.
Oh i cooked such a nice tea tonight! I mean when I actually say my cooking is nice, it means I am coming along I am pleased to say! I had steak and vegies. I steam all my vegies except my potatoe now. I actually put that whole in the microwave and put it on for about six mins and it comes out like a baked potatoe! it is sooo nice! I use to cut it open and put butter inside, but I'm being good now! don't do that! not that I need to worry - so others would tell me, but I do like to be careful. anyway it's nice!
I cook my steak to perfection. ah what would I do without my good old George Forman grill? :)
It took me a while to get the steaks just right for me, but i seem to have done it now.

Am going to bed. Tomorrow morning I am off volunteering at RVIB in the literacy class.
I quit it end of last year but M (teacher there) rang me last week and said she was short of volunteers, so I agreed to go back! I am only doing it because at the moment I'm not getting out a lot. I don't agree with their volunteer system, but that's another story which I will vent about another time!
