wow, so excited! :)

Last night on msn she came on and told me that she'd read in the paper Gretel Killeen was going to be reading one of her childrens' books "MY LIFE AS A GURDLE" on tuesday at 4 at the readings book store in Hawthorn. OK it's the day before my exam; so what? This is Grettel Killeen we're talkin about here! :) The very woman who I went all the way up to dreamworld to meet, was standing arms length away from her and was too shy to utter a word to her! I sit through a whole damn friggen bigbrother eviction just to meet her afterwoods and it wasn't to be, just by a few inches. :( Hey, nah, Bigbrother rules and it was a great night! But was kicking myself all that night and on my sorry flight back the next day. :(
But now! I! will! meet! her!!!!!!!!!! :):):):):)
I called A last night and she's happy to come with me. so I called this morning to reserve two seats! It's free too! I mean I don't care what it would have cost, but wow! OK, I thought i'd do my sob story incase I got special privlidges with meeting her, but it's usual that we do meet them in these places anyway as of course ya get her books signed, etc. So I'm like:
"Just to let you know, I'll have my guide dog, so if you are able to slot us on the edge, that'll probably work better."
that was fine! as I knew it would be, Lol but my sob story usually works so had to say that! But I'll probably get to meet her anyway! in fact, I know I will! woh! I'm going to say:
"I use to write a lot of childrens' stories; I'll have to show you them. Do you have an email address that I can send them too???" ha! ha! ha!
"I'm your *biggest *fan! i went all the way up to Dreamworld to meet you and was that close to ya but was too shy to utter a word!"
Hey she may even recognize me from there.
Then "I am such a fan of Bigbrother. I'll be auditioning later this month, so watch out for me!" :) Lol!
So A and I are meeting in the city about 2 for lunch then we'll go to Hawthorn, and I asked the guy this morning where it was, and fortunately it's in walking distance from the station!
So I love Meag for ever!!! :) thank god I was on msn as I haven't been on there much lately surprisingly enough! and she doesn't come on a lot either!
so, there I go on Tuesday! :) yeah!
OK just had to share that.
Not much else has been happening. i must study today and tomorrow as it's the last opportunity I ever get! but now i basically figure "what I don't know now, i never will" so beat it girl!!! :)
A is staying over Tuesday night and coming into the city wednesday as I go in for my exam. wow, I will be nervous so it'd probably be good for me to have a there.
(I said this in a comment but it didn't get there, so thanking all you wonderful friends for your poll results! You all rock! and even though I can be snobby, sorry! and love you all! I laughed to read that one of you said you always refreshed your "friends" page for a new LJ entry from me! You crackup you! :):)
