that is a perfect summary of these past few days!
OK let's see, i last posted on Sunday - another phone post. that was just silly and random. I was hot. And I had no-one to talk to, poor me! Nah really, being on my own kicks!
I have had C and L so far ask if I was after a flat mate, but, nope, sorry! I still swear to myself that I will not let that happen unless I'm happily in a relationship.
OK so rest of sunday was as boring as my phone post. Just played in cyberland. Monday think I did the same thing. I called Boxhill TAFE about that youth work - juvenile justice course so they got to call me back bout that. I'm on the cards though :)
Yesterday I called vermont, and C and I and C and K maybe might go next week to catch up with teachers. will be megga interesting seeing "m". It's kinda weird; I feel i need closure from what happened.
So i spoke to K. she sounded pleased to hear from me.
Then I was going to meet C at Blackie station and go back to his little flat to see what it's like. So went to Safeway and picked up some IceMagic which I was going to take around to Mum and Dad's later. So I got to the station earlier than I'd said - 1.20, but after that I was still waiting. then it started to spit and thunder. so I decided to leave for Mum's as I've had to wait around like this before.
So yeah by the time I got to Mitcham station it was pouring so had to call Mum to pick me up which she did! man was it pouring!!
We had tea which was nice! Afterwoods it started hailing something chronic!
Then last night (got home) started again and man! it went all night! was seriously a storm I have never experienced before! The thunder just kept rumbling continuely without a break. Never heard anything like it in my life! I also pulled my blinds up and was able to watch the lightening. i called Leigh D on the poor old 3AK twice :) I am getting better! His final show is next wednesday but he is sure he'll surface somewhere else next year.
Anyway all these places got flooded. unbelievable!
Oh Monday was a shopping experience of a lifetime! I decided to get my act together and walk Heartly round the block, then I'd decided to do my shop at Safeway on the way back!
So I was going into the door I normally do as that is where I can orientate myself to the surface desk easier but there was this vicious dog, who, I had no idea was there til we were close and he/she/it (don't know; don't care) jumped out and barked quite aggressively. I thought it attacked Heartly but she seemed fine when i pulled her back and in the door on my left. And everyone kept fussing over me, especially this old lady who was talking to me as if I was this poor old fredgile freak who "got a fright". I was trying to explain that I was worried about Heartly but there wasn't much use in that, *sigh* "you got a fright didn't you dear?!" Lol she kept on repeating, stroking my arm. *aaaaaah!*
anyway did my shopping. Got too much for trying to carry it the short way home. So when I was nearish to home this lady came and asked if I needed a hand. so that was nice! really nice!
I am having a lazy day today. didn't get much sleep at all last night. It is sooo muggy! cicadas are singing, and there was meant to be more storms forecast. I am debating on whether to brave it as I need to get Heartly some more smackos and myself some of that nice trippledeck chocolate.
Gretel wrote to me this morning. It was passed along to me by someone from the publishing company. She said she can't give me her email addi as security won't let her give to anyone outside close-working networks! ah that sucks! I mean i am not just "anyone", I am "Rachel", "Rachel Rachel Rachel Dianne keyte" I say! *frown* I so hope she thinks me not as a total freak now for nagging and saying kind of weird things in that email! :( I can understand they need to be careful with celebs, but man! individual rights?! :(:(
But she said she'd look at my short stories when she had more time.
I guess, at least she has my web site address now. hope she can break more ice and email me! aaaah! yes, I know I know - always gotta have more! Lol! but, I was happy to hear from her as I honestly was starting to believe i wouldn't.
Tomorrow is the BigBrother special "COULD YOU, WOULD YOU, SHOULD YOU" which is what I am definitely going to watch and take note. As this is my time! :) Tomorrow I have RVIB tertiary info session and then study group with the sponcered YBCV lunch.
So yeah guess I just haven't felt like writing in here and even now was a struggle which is odd cos usually I am sooo enthusiastic about updating.
