THE ONE WEEK MARK!!! :)

Welcome to my first sleepless entry for 2006!
Yes, a sleepless entry. I am supposed to be in bed asleep now. why? because I said so. but I can't sleep cos it's 27 degrese outside and I've slept with no blankets or sheets on all night and it didn't scare me too much cos it was way too hot! And, i got a tad sick of listening to talkback so I got up on here thinking that I'll read journals! It's gunna be 43 today! man! more cold showers for me today me is thinking! yeah!
Well we have reached the one week mark! One week and four days, but still one week! ha!
Yep knowing me I'll probably doze a lot later. I usually do dose after a while of LJ friends reading (not that my LJ friends are necessarily boring) but I guess eloquence has this way of being my perfect male reader while lulling me off to sleep. oh oh, i yawned and I hear birdies! May go back, turn eloquence on and will leave my trusty fan on one!

oh oh I've gone mad (it's the hourally countdown!)

Maybe the heat has gotten to me, but at any rate, I have nothing better to do and to try and kind of attend to my overwhelming excitement the best way I know how atm, I have decided to start my hourally countdown on msn to when I leave, as in, depart on that big scarey aircraft! Lol
Last year I started the hourally countdown just a day before I left, and now it's every hour that I get to update the little digit in the second part of my msn screne name. No, i will not be up all night if I can help it. I will simply be able to subtract the hours I was away from msn. yep, Lol
I've had two cold showers so far; about to go have another one am thinking. Lol! and I am kinda short in food supply and wanted to go round the corner and get some more today but it's way way too hot. so I will have my last lot of spaghetti for tea and will go do some shopping tomorrow when it's only meant to be 28!
I have also enjoyed my home made fruit crush cordial icy poles! they are sooo damn yummy and a great relief!
have had the aircon on in the Loundge all day so it's really cool in there! I have shut the bathroom and spare room doors to try and stop cool going in there as such, but I don't think it's making much of a difference. I should get an aircon for my room though I've never really used the aircon much before. I usually just get by with the fan but these extreme temps have called for nothing else. ah well!
anyway at 4 I will be able to change it to 261 hours! :) go me! :) Lol I'm mad but excited and hot! :( and it's gunna be hottish all week!

OK so I am feeling rather pleased. I installed all the rockbox stuff and installed English Audry into the lang folder of .rocbox, and, well I tried to turn it off for ages but it wouldn't happen but luckily amazingstar came to my rescue and told me I need to actually unplug it. I didn't think I would of had to but i did and tried again and it turned off straight away. then I just thought what if by chance I turned it back on and it spoke so after figuring out which one was the headphone jack, I pressed AB button which is menu and it beeped at me, then I pressed the joystick a couple times and it just beeped still so I went to turn it off, and all of a sudden I heard something coming out the headphone (that I had in my ear) I heard this kind of music sequence and then I heard "goodbye. the night is yet young" and I'm just like "WTF" and then I heard another girl say something in a different language. I'm like "what??" and the longer I listened, the more I realized it sounded like some sort of language interpretation lesson, but I didn't see anything else in the directory from my computer except this techno-like demo file that it obviously comes with. so I have no idea. but it was saying all these crazy things like "have you had enough dinner?" then the other language (maybe Japanese?) and, there was a really funny one but can't remember. Lol weird. I have no idea where that came from. first I thought that rockbox or something was saying "goodbye as it logged off! I am totally not sure. but I'm guessing that now it's all ready for a sightie to come help me go to the menu and select update or patch firmwear then I should be right to go.
I am totally puzzled about that language thing! Lol thought for a sec some how the wrong language was installed but it was definitely the English.voice file, so who knows! I bloody don't! Lol (inside joke with louise_1985 the travelling internet_king J and Lizzy! yeah for inside jokes! hahaha
Well I'm hot though not as bad as before. I thought my aircon died totally before but I guess it has a thirmustat on it or something and it was only the fan on so was a bit worried, but turned it off for a while and now it's fine again! :)
I had another cold shower and sprayed Heartly a bit too Lol! she seemed to get some energy back after that, silly poochy! :) Lol
