puter probs
Jun. 28th, 2006 08:28 pmWell forgot to mention in here I have a brand new 80 gig hard drive in my new computer (that I have networked to this one) so, I will be setting up my ftp site. Having a few probs with it though at the moment.
This morning I tried to turn this puter on but it wasn't getting past a certain screen. I tried several times after that to turn it back off and on again (as this has worked in the past) but not today! Thank goodness that I mosed the rest of my stuff over to my other puter yesterday. anyway Dad came after work and read something about it not seeing the hard disc. anyway he played around with bios for a while and it seemed to boot up after that. We think that one of my CDroms had something to do with it as it's not working and he said that the light was constantly on!
anyway so this booted up finally. I copied the remainder of my stuff over ready for a complete format and reinstall of XP, (thought that would solve my sound issue as well. This sound is getting quieter and quieter even though my puter volume is set at 100%. also ever since I loaded the trippletalk drivers on here, I some how accidently did something wrong and I always get the sound from my TT speaker in the background of my regular speakers) anyway .. so I copied eudora boxes and internet favourites over to the other puter then I went back with dad to parents for yummy roast. we watched BB but Dad drove me home halfway through and I said not to worry about XP now as he's getting the cold we had.
I've got everything I need on the other puter.

Today had a bit of a neighbours marathon.
tomorrow we're going out for Milos' birthday to swan which will be nice - of course sad but he would have wanted us to all get together! he was into them! Lol!
Well might just go and listen to some more neighbours epps.
