Oct. 22nd, 2006 03:21 pmWell just as i write this, the broadcast of the state BCA convention ended. I accidently stumbled upon it yesterday.
I perhaps should, or could have gone but didn't really give it much thought til it was too late! But I'd like to go to the national one next year if I can. But who knows where i'll be then? studying? working? who knows?!
so I turned it on yesterday cos I was bored. had gone to the site and thought "why not" very clear broadcast. connected straight away which I thought was pretty amazing. and I immediately recognized the speaker, Mat! then I realized J was chairing a session on relationships. I vaguely remembered her saying something ages ago about it but had forgotten. so "there's my little friends!" I announced to meself. :) So heard the rest of that, then tuned in and out for the rest of the day. K and I were comparing notes a bit on msn lol.
so this morning I tuned in and heard the BCA AGM (think it was) then the other sessions on employment and leasure chaired by Robyn which was good. Then just tuned in again to hear the end of Jesica's speel (I'd never heardher before;she sounds lovely). And, yeh now it's over! .. so, yep recognized a lot of people! .. Nan came over today. she got back from her trip. she's going back tonight though. It's a nice day today; 20 degrese!
last night I continued to go through old LJ entries, and am tagging the earlier ones! .. As I said a while ago it's certainly interesting looking back. I've done a variety of things! studying on and off has been a big part of me! Lol next year will start another lot I guess!
Just SMS'ed T from CAE; thought I'd see if it was still her number! there's me, the horrible person who use to lose contact with so many awesome friends! I'm kicking meself for that! but, I've thought about it a lot lately. You make some, you lose others. some I thought would stick around forever, certainly have proved me wrong, and others, the opposite! ah well, that's the interesting thing about life!
