OK well not quite. But, last night while speaking to Glenny I did hear a big bang and some rumbling but thought nothing of it. We often get rumbles and bangs around here as when we turn the hop taps on, the npipes often rattle a little, and there are always truck starting up, (mostly in the morning). but later on in bed, I read on the melb community that it could have been an earth tremmor.
then this morning I woke up to the news of it. 10.36, measured about 3 at St.Keilda, epicentre was about 15 M (can't remember the measurements now) under. There was apparently another at about 11.20 but I didn't feel that one at all.
I was up pretty late last night, late for me at any rate! Neil Mitchell had callers call up and most thought a truck had slammed into their house. and, weird for me, but most were in bed.
