so much for .. busses?

So I was meant to meet J on the bus so we could both go to Kooyong for ABBLA but, .. strike one, two, three, it didn't happen. stupid bus driver. OK the bus we were going to meet on left the station at 2, so I was aiming to be there by then but instead I left by then. that was OK, I rushed over and made it. yes, I would have made it. For just as I was crossing the road from the stop on this side, the bus came up though I didn't know this at the time. so I stepped on to the other curb, and wizz, right past me went that stupid bus! .. yes, it could have stopped, he obviously saw me. But whether he assumed I was walking past I don't know. still, most patient drivers will wait anyway just in case person wants to get on bus, but no! so, first strike to the dodgy driver.
But, second strike to me for not transferring mobile to the bigger bag I took (to carry the Beuoc volume I was taking). so, I waited for a while in the heat (29 today), then raced home, tried to call J, couldn't get her for a while but eventually did, and she informs me that she had missed that bus as I wasn't on there obviously. so I went out again but missed the next one which J had tried to call and tell me. so I just told her I wouldn't go as I would have been too late for it. So I went to safeway to get me some saos for my new olive paste I got dad to get for me at market. Lol so that's all I did. then I tried to do a voice post but it didn't work out too well - stupid freakin realtech; I keep meaning to get meself another sound card. anyway I also reinstalled soundforge 7 but something very odd is happening. It speeds my recording up. never had that issue before so weird.
anyway went to parents for tea last night. And Dad and I had one of our chats as he dropped me off about wasting energy and water in this drout, and what we can do about it! It actually stemmed from a bit of an argument we had when the heater was turned on last night and dad's like "we're going to need the cooler on tomorrow!" anyway we got on to this big discussion about our values as a community about wasting resources - most do care, but then some don't. , about how our electricity is made from coal and the creation of that is causing global warming. talking about nuclear power and what would happen if we moved to that, about the churnobyl nuclear experiment that went wrong in the 70's that killed heaps of people. got to discussing if this world was meant to support all this dammage that's being done. I was saying that however this world is percieved to be, surely the purpose was to support all these people. Then we got on to money, why money, why people can't do things for free, the history of exchanging goods, bla bla. Just had a massive discussion about all this in the car at my place. It was interesting. we always use to get into deep discussions about one thing or another, Lol! He sure teaches me a lot though because I haven't got the knowlege about a lot of these things.
hmm so i guess my aim now is to get my audio working as I want it too, again! *sigh*
