proper update - somewhat healthier
Nov. 2nd, 2006 01:11 pmOK, strange things have been happening around here. First of all, little droplets of water have been falling out of the sky all last night and steadily today and hardly anyone remembers what they are! (OK so I can't take full creddit for that; It was Mitchell's opening quote this morning.) Anyway this fact, while normally making me miserable that I can'tt participate affectively outside, is making me happy cos it of course means more water everywhere - on my new garden (if you can call some dead Dafnee and my one apricott tree and some other plants that were here before my garden), - also of course, hopefully water in the catchment areas and making farmers happy.
So there's a chance of thunder this afo apparently. tomorrow it's meant to be fine so I have no worries about staying in considering I was out yesterday until 11.30 and walked my and Heartly's legs off!
OK after vet I came back here for a while then ended up walking down to C's, stayed there and chatted for a while, then we went back up to bakery, then back, then back up to milkbar to get lollies, then back, then back up to Ghenesh for dinner, then waited for the bus as I didn't feel like walking, but no bus, so I ended up having to walk anyway and it was late because, time got away from us. still not use to daylight saving; it throws me totally, even after a few days. ah, I had tried to call the met to find out when the next bus would leave Blackburn station but my mobile lost its final bit of life, so I went to use the phone box. I put two twentys in, and it didn't let me call the met (131 number) so it course cuts out, but chucks me out my two twentys plus another two plus two fives, to make 70 cents! I was impressed and kept trying to call the met with two twentys to see if I would end up with more coins but I didn't. so that was a cheap attempt of a phone call.) anyway so course I walked home and heard a bus arrive as I was walking, doh!
anyway last night power went off, not sure for how long as my answering machine announces it's menus as power returns to it.
So today I guess I really should work on my doco. need to draft my voiceovers.
oh, btw, I have my 2plus ADSL plan! I hadn't realized that they even changed me over as J was uploading from me, i looked at the speeds and was amazed! :) Lol haven't tried downloading yet.
