prepaid? :)
Nov. 9th, 2006 07:48 pmWell I had a bit of an exaughsting afternoon. I had decided to go to flinders to see if I could follow Nan's instructions and find the bus stop that we would need to be at tomorrow night (to get to crown with J and the gang). But just before I left, C called so he ended up coming with me.
I was talking to this cool lady at the station, who initially was interested in Heartly, (surprise surprise) but she seemed cool. C arrived and there was a mixup as I thought this lady was sitting in the chair two away from me, so she said 'I'll let him sit here". I replied "nah he can sit here" now pointing to the empty chair. so she comes back, half plonked herself down and said "well i can still sit here if ya want!" Lol - OK doesn't really make sense when writing it but one just had to be there!
But she was fun. as I was about to sit down on the train, Heartly knocked over a bottle and I said "well it is Oaks day. they started already (and did the drunken hiccuppy voice. so we were all laughing bout that. anyway fun woman got off at boxhill.
And, C was holding on to my bag in city to be quicker and, go me! once I navigated us out the busy station, I did find the bus stop! I was sooo pleased! so tomorrow won't be problem.
Then we went back to cyndel, walked to swiss bakery, then C insisted on showing me where he use to live. so walked up there; twas a hike which was getting annoying as it was up hill, was hot and we'd walked around a bit trying to re-find swiss bakery (after getting directed to the wrong one. :(
anyway was a nice walk back down hill. We caught the bus back and there was this guy, immediately I knew he had interlectual disabilities. I course had to ask him not to pat Heartly, and, he had this interesting fixation with mobile phones and finding out whether people had prepaid or bills! He asked this poor guy next to him, about his wife's billing status and their kids (who were too young to have proper mobiles. though they had toy ones, this guy still asked whether they were prepaid or billed). and he also got asked what his wife does for a living, and all this stuff! He then asked if I had a boyfriend, (course should have said "nope got a girlfriend though to see what he'd say! :)
anyway patient guy got off, and the guy asked how I was, again! he then asked me if I have a mobile phone and .. you guessed it .. prepaid or billed .. then .. what company I'm with. then .. if I worked. .. then fortunately my stop was announced so I got off and left the rest to C. Lol
til next time, RdFreak
