so who won the Melbourne cup?

I didn't find out who won the cup til this morning. nope, didn't take the slightest bit notice! Lol and this morning .. I found it was delta someone, and I can't even remember what the last part of that was. me and my hopeless memory *grr i hate it, considering it use to be soo good! *grr
anyway it was only last night when I remembered the train of thought I had yesterday morning which I wanted to put down in here. OK well yesterday on the breakfast program on 3AW they were talking about surrogate mothers and how it's banned here in Melb so this couple needed to go to sydney; how ridiculous! anyway I think they are trying to pass the law here. anyway, this woman called up and said that her niece couldn't conceive, so they got an egg from her, hubby's sperm and enplanted it in this other woman, and then there apparently came the argument, who was the registered mother? I just thought it was ridiculous! it's obvious! the original egg and sperm banks! I am not sure why there needs to be confusion over that! I mean just because a surrogate mother incubates the fetus/embrio, doesn't mean all the genetic makeup and all would change would it?Even I know that! Lol ah well!

And now I will go walk Heartly before I will come back here to tune into another addition of zone icon which is on "Tuesday 8 PM east" which translates to 12 PM Wednesday for me, and about 20 Million + others (or minus since it's not all Australians on the same time duh)
