Jan. 20th, 2007 09:34 amI completely forgot, on the day, to acknowlege Heartly and my 7th anniversary together on the 17th of January! and, all the years have been everything that I've wanted in a guide dog, yeh well, apart from her lovely little dog and skateboard distractions. I'd die if anything happens to her and/or the day comes when I have to retire her.
When people ask me even now am I going to get another dog, I simply can't say. of course they benefit me much more than a ccane, but I'll have to cross the bridge when I come to it.
Now to our introduction. As I got called for a late follow-up, I decided to go ahead and ask if I could get introduced to a toiletting harness; so this is happening on Monday. This will be helpful of course in both my backyard, but also because I'll be going back to uni this year. I hope Heartly takes to it OK.
anyway, happy belated anniversary Heartly!
