Well, wouldn't I know it? when I love remembering these milestones, I had my LJ birthday on the 26th of July. I was busy in Worcester then, but it was the day of an entry so I could have mentioned it but it slipped my mind.
yes LJ turns four! it is such a milestone for me! I still love LJ as much as when i started it.
I am not going to reflect too much; emotionally I go up and down like a yoyo, still for the many various reasons.
I did of course get my first job in feb which I am proud of. That did finally happen for me! so that is one step up from below I guess.
These two days of work have been pretty good. Mum drove me in this morning to rest my leg (explain in a min) and yesterday it was as much as I could do to hobble home.
I am off to the doctors tomorrow. When I was in worcester on the Wednesday, I fell down about four or five concrete steps in town. It was an accident of course; no-one's fault. anyway I tried to run down the stairs so as not to fall, but I did fall and twisted my right leg.
After sitting for a while, D being worried and my insisting I was OK, we continued and I naturally thought it'd be OK. But from then on, it always hurt a bit when I leant on it. but as I was never needing to hurry, it didn't affect my trip really. I did notice it though when I was rushing more.
anyway yesterday by the time I got into work, I was in a lot of pain; going down steps was just killing me! I just couldn't put my weight on it at all.
My parents think I may have torn a ligament or something. but will see what is said tomorrow. I'm guessing I'll need an X-ray since the problem won't be visible on surface. so yeh, who knows what will happen tomorrow?
I am totally fine when I sit down but it's walking on it that becomes a problem and I'm thinking it's not going to heel up unless I get some doctor's orders to stay off it officially or whatever. course I can't have crutches or anything; imagine! If they tell me to stay off it, I will just get a lift to work Thursday and friday as i have already had the month off and I don't want to use all my sick days; I'll be using one tomorrow as is. I do have my usual next week off though which will be good.
Have the wonderful
golden_sands and her lovely guide dog Molly coming over this weekend which will be nice. we're going from there to K's; was the plan.
got a guide dog lunchen (invited to in email) on the 26th, and a wildlife excursion with VA on the 15th of sep, so a few things at once are happening atm.
As I didn't check my email from halfway through me trip, I had over two thousand when I got home, but course, most of it is spam spam spam!
Watched the new neighbours last night between switching over to Today tonight to see that section they had on kath and Kim. can't wait for the new series next Sunday but it's a bummer it's on 7!
Kinda understanding the new neighbours but am yet to meet the new characters properly. I am sad that Skye left when I was away; it would have been good to see her go! ah well!
all for now I guess
til next time, RdFreak
