Stan dream

last night I had a dream i met Stan Zemanek.
myself and a few others (who unfortunately escape me now though they were all friends in the dream) were in this truck, and I could hear stan's voice next to me, talking to me sister, I think. anyway I was feeling extremely shy, but i all of a sudden plucked up the courage, and said quietly "excuse me, are you stan Zemanek?" to which he replied that he was indeed, and we started chatting. He told me about his interest in radio and all.
the dream was quite vivid though; quite detailed which is unusual for me.
I guess that came about cos i was on the 2ue web site yesterday and I found all these tributes that i read, and radio shows that i will listen to later on today.
I'm basically ready, waiting for Mum to pick me up to go to the docs. forgot to say, while I'm there, I'm getting my dreaded followup blood test for my iron. I hope I don't think about it too much again. I will be laying down though this time.
and, as I say, who knows whether they'll require me to have an x-ray or whether she can just diagnose it from my description. at any rate, it's obvious I'll be asked to stay off it as much as possible. I just honestly don't know if that's all it would be; I guess so. I guess if it was anything more serious it would prob hurt constantly, not just when I've done over half an hour of walking.

P.S. yes, again, unlike in U.K, I'm taking my siprinal again to stable my moods.
P.P.S. oh, I found out, through reading the AGM YBCV minutes that A and M are now married! only, it's nice that any of us actually new this. Lol! .. and I do say "anyone" apart from family.needless to say, I was quite disappointed but not really too surprised since A. they don't like parties or huge fusses (up to them of course) and B. I can only talk for myself, but I hadn't been in contact for a while, but my responce to their lack of one.
what did surprise me though is the fact we use to be such good friends; ah well, can't be helped hey?!

So went to docs and basically she said she thinks I may have done a bit of dammage to cartlidge, not ligament. she moved my knee in all directions and said she could feel it catching (which explained it to her pretty much). she said it can happen with leg twists. She just gave me some exercises for it, and if it's still the same in three weeks, I have to go get an MRI scan on it to see exactly the prob.
also had my follow up iron blood test and I didn't faint, as I lay on the bed this time. She remembered from last time and announced as I was entering the room "and you'll be laying down this time?" Lol
then I called RB and he said they'd need to know my lunchtime if I was coming in (cos of the time sheet factor) so I said I would and Mum kindly gave me a lift there again. spent my lunch working to make up, did my time sheet knowing I'd saved a sicky, and in between calls (there weren't too many today) i did my usual reading of LJs that I'd emailed. (still reading friends page from when I was gone and yesterday I was catching up with [livejournal.com profile] bigbrother_au Going to grab more of those entries soon for tomorrow.)
I caught the train and bus home tonight and my knee started to hurt as I was walking up the drive here, so it can't take much still, so the one-way lifts help!
and I have now got a bit of a sore throat; hope it won't turn into anything; already had the cold this year thanks!
til next time, RdFreak
