no power, no puter
Feb. 20th, 2008 03:30 pmWell the power is scheduled to be interupted between 8 and 4 tomorrow.
M and I were under the impression this was to happen last wednesday, but it never did. it would have been OK for me, not so great for her; I was at work, so it wouldn't have affected me. i have this week off, and while I could quite easily go and do something useful, I have to stay around here, as I am waiting on a currier to deliver a Nokia N82 I bought on behalf of dean; it sucks! I did it last weekend cos he doesn't have ebay or paypal, however, why I didn't change it to his address, I'll never really know.
So, today nothing. In fact, I had a bit of a good catchup on some sleep til not long ago. it was actually necessary! was listening to some Neighbours before that!
I was garanteed of phone arriving between one and three days. that means, if it comes friday, too bad. I've got my final O&M session around Queens. Then, if I am told I will be starting there next week, I decided I might go and say farewell again to the boys at SY. F hurt her back I am told, so may not be starting next week as she'll be training me.
Yesterday Mum and Nan were doing a spring clean here, and after Doctor Phil, I tracked off to south Yarra with my bigger bag to collect all my remaining stuff there, including my headset which is all set for next week. i then left with RB for Kooyong where we had a good talk before the room was available. Learnt later, our room was occupied by J and her clients! Lol .. we did have a bit of a catchup before she left.
FN then bought us some dinner from fish and chips (me not liking the traditional fish and chips) was very content with a steak sandwich with the lot and three potatoe cakes. Much laughter was had over dinner and into the meeting.
RB is a lovely guy and all the more because he doesn't see me as some stupid kid, as I would just expect so many his age would. He confides so much to me, (everything, I think)and I try to help where I can. I'll really miss him when I'm not working with him on a daily basis; He's about the only one who can make me laugh so much these days! so I guess once a month at puter club and skype and that other times. He is the one reason I'll be sorry to go on to queens; otherwise I am now quite looking forward to the challenge, and being surrounded by more people is definitely more my cup of tea, not to mention some females, yeah! :)
L and I may see eye to eye one day. I know she's very kind, so I do hope we can.
