Well, I guess I stole K's line, but since it was my story, I thought it sounded good! Lol I had meant to relate the following story that happened friday but I forgot.
i thought, since it was my last day with them both at SY for a while, I'd drop into seven-eleven near SY station and buy some cadbury cream eggs. but, note to self: always be damn specific when dealing with the foreigners that make up seven-eleven.
"Do you have cream eggs?" (yes I forgot to mention the cabury part, but thought the cream will be enough.
So she gets them for me, I pay for them, she gives them to me. I felt, I felt carefully, and to my amazement, I found I was holding a carton of raw eggs. Wondering what I'd do with raw eggs, and feeling pleased I checked on the item already in the bag, I kinda smiled and told her in a clear, maybe slightly patronizing voice, "no, I mean, do you have chocolate cream eggs .. cadbury?" so she showed me one and I replied yep, that was what i meant, so we had to do a bit of a reverse transaction, and I bought six cream eggs for myself and the boys!
I ended up going to [livejournal.com profile] k29 's last night along with [livejournal.com profile] golden_sands and Mel. and, as only K does best, she thought the above story I related was extremely amusing, (cryingly amusing) I am told, and she, or Mel announced "Happy easter boys", obviously having imagined what would have transpired had I presented them with a carton of raw eggs!
Last night was fun. we had our fave prawn and avocado pizza, and chocolate cheese cake for dessert.
Then we had a listen to some comedy skits on K's computer before calling it a night via a cab.
As planned, Mazz came back here to stay, and after her breakfast today, I presented her with a chocolate cookie puff (I so wanted her to try). She has now gone up to the chemist and things, and when she comes back, she will try a mango one .. because I said so ... Lol she loves them, and is glad she's not living around here to be tempted by them right now! Lol although, our wish really (mine as much as hers) is that she will eventually find a place around this area, because she is truly a great friend! Sure, I've had my moments, and I still will, but .. maybe we all do?!
So she'll be meeting [livejournal.com profile] harmonybear for the guide dogs open day today, and I was contemplating going with them, but I just think it'd be too crowded, and I want a break today after rushing around every day last week for work, singing and such things. I do miss [livejournal.com profile] harmonybear though cos despite a few attempts, we've never actually caught up much, so I do plan to hang out with her a little more in future.
OK I guess enough for now.

The year was 1969 (ten years before I was born). Zager And Evans performed a well-known hit called "IN THE YEAR 2525".
While it may have got to number 1 in a few countries, I actually had never heard of the song before, until Dad played it to me about ten (or so) years ago. i was immediately taken in; I was fascinated. I didn't think much of the voice/s to be honest, but the words, along with the melody, had such an eary feel to it! It was prediction at its finest! What will exactly happen all those years from now? will any of it, as Scientific as it is, be real? Even back then, they predicted how the world was going! look at it now!
So, not long after the first day i heard the track, I went and downloaded it. Now, if i want to scare myself, I will play it.
Just then, i grabbed the lyrics from google to share in my LJ, just in case anyone hasn't heard it before. The other main reason is that when I listen to songs, I always will listen to the melody first before the words. So even though I had done my best to listen to the words of the song, I thought I'd make sure I had done it properly.

So before, I was reading a bit of the [livejournal.com profile] ebay_blacklist community, and it dawned on me that I still hadn't given feedback for the nokia phone I'd bought for dean. I had tried to do it at work, but for some reason, it didn't let me, so I went and gave him positive feedback, and now, I found that there's additional forms since I did it last - about shipping, communication etc. i marked that as positive, even though we didn't really communicate at all through the whole thing. Usually we would communicate. But, a bit of it is my fault because I was at work when I initially bought it, I didn't pay for it straight away; in fact, I paid for it three days afterwoods. and I had always paid straight away on all my other ebay purchases. and I never ended up communicating to him the reason for the delay. I'd meant too, but i didn't get around to it. So I'm kinda hoping he'll give me positive feedback as well; cos I hadn't been able to understand why it wouldn't let me buy the item at work, so I assumed work was blocking something. but then I realize it was cos i needed to re-sign into paypal again.
I'm tired and rambly!
