happy anzac day (and things)

happy anzac day to all Aussies and Kiwi's! :) (for the record, I'm not very up with what the day means entirely so I will be looking at the above link myself.) I mean, course, I know the basic meaning but ..
So today is a public holiday, or, "pubic holiday" as I accidently had referred to it on msn to one blind_funk who was curious about my "public holiday" status in my message.
Needless to say, that exact same typing error appears on our work timesheets we have to fill in once a fortnight. -- "pubic holl" is what it says -- Lol it is an error set in stone, as only people with the authority from interstate can change this, and I guess they haven't.
So today I plan to chill, and spend some time on the BigBrother forums! -- just three days to go til opening night! :)
One of the revealed housemates is 52 - the oldest housemate! she sounds interesting! :)
Now, I will attempt to get something straight here (after a concerned Miss molly80 messaged me. (For the record, she has done nothing to upset me):
i am *not attempting to control who can add my LJ friends and who can't. that's cool! What I do find extremely iirritating though is when people go around and add all their friends friends cos they want a big friends page, and/or they are not confident enough to make their own friends! They do not want to spend the time to get to know someone, so they think they can grab a little bit of this, and a little bit of that from their LJ friends list. - that's what has happened in the past, and is happening here now again. It's not fair on me, and it's not fair on our LJ friends!
