So, I gave up on the BigBro forums yesterday as one has to click far too many pages to actually get to the text of a message.
OK there's the forum title, click that, then there's sub forum titles, click them, and we may get a message or two! Mostly, it's as if we have to click every message to read it's individual replies.
i prefer simpler setups, as has been done previous years.
Just the top message and all it's replies directly underneith would suffice.
I just can't be bothered with it!
The site is also impossible for blindies to register for now. they have the capture thing (which I do not have a problem with, as so many spam accounts try and register now) but they don't have any audio alternative! I need to actually find a human to write to about this. Luckily, my account was already there from previous years.
And I bought a VIP pass yesterday so I can listen in online again, and have access to all the x-rated videos. I only hope the audio is top quality!
Off to singing in a bit with my trusty Maestro.

So today I successfully bused and trammed it to singing, leaving about 20 mins spare; so Heartly and I just sat outside and waited.
After I walked in, I heard the last of L's lesson; she was learning a little jazz piece (well not really sure how little as I only heard a few bars!)
I went through the usual warm-up exercises, then she decided it was time to start singing; this was the bit I was waiting for, heh.
I told her I honestly wasn't a big fan of jazz, but, country, for sure, as it was what I was brought up on. So she flicked through pages and asked if I knew "HOW DO i LIVE WITHOUT YOU" by Leanne Rhymes (and also trisha Yearwood - :) so, I started to sing that, though it was a bit difficult without knowing all the words. so I told her I'd find them on the net and braille them up for next week. but I was able to get through it anyway and she seemed to be pretty impressed.
I then sung for her Edalweis (since I'd told her it's a song I'm often singing at home on my own, and I sound good .. to myself! :) I sung it all the way through, then we went back and I perfected some stuff where I needed more pronounciation on certain vowels, and opening my mouth more to reflect the higher notes.
So I shall braille out the other song for next week.
While waiting at the bus stop before hand, i'd called dad to see if he wanted to have lunch afterwoods, so he picked me up from singing, and we went to ForestHill, where we both had pizza and a hot chocolate for me, he, a coffee.
Mum is still the same, though dad says she seems to be getting better; that's sure a relief!
