renewed enthusiasm for piano

rdfreakWow, I am gunna say that I am discovering more and more things musically and how it all goes together than I ever did before. I learnt three exercises from that Premiliniary Grade no. 7 exercise book through braille music alone! so that was pleasing. but apart from that, I am going through the scales to figure out how many sharps and flats are in each. It's something I never could figure out, so am trying bit by bit! also some chords relating to the different scales, and I am just more adventurous and I am sounding more professional (as I always put it :) So, with this much enthusiasm, I will actually learn heaps a lot faster! Oh I was mucking around with "LET IT BE" and figured out the chords it consists of. Just really tried to concentrate on the song in my head and eventually I worked it out! .. I seem to be trying to do it a lot with Beatles songs!
anyway I found that today I did an exercise, mucked around without music for a while, went away, watched TV, work (ahem, should have done :) etc. then come back and have another bash then have another break and come back. I just feel more confident about what I am trying to achieve! :)
In other news I didn't go to the funeral this morning though I am regretting that a tad now. I mean I spoke to Mum and of course, it was very sad but I should have gone really!
And 3AW History; this morning at 7.15 3AW changed from 12.78 to 693 (Magic). I recorded this as well as 12.78 changing over to Magic at 10, (they were off air for a while). Was going to upload it on LJ but as I will be getting rid of my audio blog account soon, it's probably not worth it! Lol! anyway I love History!
tomorrow I do have to get stuck into some course work. not that there is anything due as such, but since I don't participate in the chats, I need to work through the questions in our newsletters looking at both our class book and the one (I am still scanning *grrrr)
