So we have reached the one month mark of when I leave for U.K! I leave a month from today -- have to confirm but at about 7.30 this time. The time I get in isn't as good as last time -- 12.30 PM which means I will have to try and stay awake for a longer period, ah well!
So this trip definitely will prove slightly more adventurous than the last, and, slightly more challenging. but, I shall prevail! it will be good for me! I need to step outside my comfort zone more and more!
Oh, I am now going to Cornwall from Wooster. am visitting C and J (Mum's uncle's brother and his wife - what would that make them?)
And I just can't wait for Germany and B's wonderful cooking that she keeps telling me about! and I loove trying new foods! so let's go party! :)
work was OK this week! T, i found a little full on, but nice and he showed me he "liked" me from the start and tried to show me so much compassion. Yesterday afo he stayed quiet upon my request and we emailed each other back and forth (even though we were only sitting desks apart, lol :)
I'm working the 7.6 hours on tuesday (and possibly all that week) as RB hopefully recovers. It is of course the queen's unofficial birthday Monday!
aaah, we were told Jon got sacked Monday, but it wasn't the case. it was a more neutral decision. needless to say, he isn't happy with the messenger/s.
I will definitely miss him though. it's already way too quiet without him coming in saying "hi trend-setters" or "hi tax dodgers" lol, but we will definitely stay in touch as he's already a good friend.
I downloaded "BYE BYE BABY (BABY GOODBYE) by the four seasons last Sat night from all of mp3.com which I use when I have too. However, I'm a tad annoyed at myself because the previous time I used it, I ordered a couple of real Macoy albumns, but, alas, I didn't download the tracks from my basket in time, so, they vanished! *grr! I always wanted to get the real Macoy albumns; have always liked them!
anyway, this Four seasons song is one that doesn't appear to be on the greatest hits that I've got!
I first heard a snippet of it on a channel 7 documentary called "where are they now?" .. the section it was played on was about this train crash that took place in Sydney in 1977. it was indeed very tragic and a few who survived of course came on 29 years later. anyway I had thought that song was released that year. It gave me an overwhelming sadness, made more emotional by the fact of displays of those immense keychanges that really play with my emotions.
anyway, since then I always wanted it. Dean had it playing a while ago at work, but the CD was jumping bigtime throughout.
I finally found out who it was by last week and got it! .. aaah baby! I like it, of course, mostly cos of the melody, but most of all (as the reason I like songs more), the key changes! man they kill me! If I'm happy, these make me even happier! If I'm sad, they make me feel even sadder! If i'm neither happy or sad, it just makes me feel .. um, like crying, but cos I'm happy! wow, can't explain!
was just listening to it several times before!
um, quite, co-incidently (I would believe) there was a train crash here in Vic in Kerang Tuesday.
such a tragedy! Semitrailer crashed into a carrige - which apparently was the dining car!
-- we of course had other tragic news events, but this one was mentioned as it was sorta linked to when I first heard the song!
right, i spose I should go and have breakfast; shouldn't do a repeat of last saturday hey?!
Oh apparently I hear andrew won again last night. And half the house are up for eviction tomorrow. Billy saved Aleyshia and nominated Rebecca.
til next time, RdFreak

I remember the day of that train crash at Granville very well, even though I was only five years old. My Grandmother was going to take my sisters and I on the train to the Blue Mountains which is on that train line, so we couldn't go. It sounded so scary for those people on it, so I'm glad there were survivors, even though I think gthe trauma would stay with them to this day.

Sorry to hear about John, but I hope you can keep in touch as he sounds like such a nice person.

oh yes, thanks for that. I had forgotten where it was. I could have looked it up but I can be so lazy!
wow, that's so freaky that you were going to go on that same train line! .. yeh it just made me shudder as I sat there watching it!
yeh, fortunately Jon and I are staying in touch. he's a good friend :)
