lovely party!

Well work went alright. spent time reading trekker archives and E's LJ still, Lol! and had a lovely long talk to F on phone.
I met up with Q going through the tunnel of Richmond station this evening. so we chatted all the way to Mitcham since I found out he lives there now!
Met up with Ang, and Nan was at parents. T came and we all enjoyed Lasanya, garlic bread, salad followed by marsbar slice!
Everyone was all in good spirits and laughing with each other.
Looks like I will be joining the likes of everyone and signing up for facebook. I really wasn't bothered about it at all, considering I have heard of nothing else, but Ang tells me a lot of people from school are on there, so that's good enough reason for me. (as I often think about everyone especially my closest friend there Nat.) Bec also had asked ang if I was on it. It came about cos ang had said she learnt of some particular situation through facebook; can't remember what it was now! .. so, guess I shall join! have heard so many mixed things about it's accessability so I will evaluate for meself. may sign up tomorrow while at work. that way, if the issue of the visual varification comes up with no audio or anything, I can ask one of the guards to help me with it. speaking of that, they can also help me sign up for twitter as it's another site I can't sign up to on my own cos of same reason with no audio alternative. yeah! I wanted to sign up for twitter ever since I kept hearing internet_king 's skype go off all the time I was at his place (since one can set it up so skype can alert you of a new message). But there's no way of this LJ going; twitter is just cos I like to chat about boring every day things, and facebook is cos it seems much more popular, especially with chances to re-meet with ppl from school!
Nan came back here and she'll go back tomorrow in time for her club "friends and neighbours".
and now I will prob go to bed. pretty tired.

Hi, facebook doesn't have an audio alternative for the visual verrification. Once you're signed up though it's not too bad to use, but isn't the easiest site to get around. I'm still trying to get used to it and I've been on it a few weeks. It's really good though, cos you can find people you haven't spoken to for ages. Also, when you've signed up, you'll need to verrify your mobile number. you select which country you're from, and then type it in. They'll then text you a code to verrify your account and you then verrify it with that code. You need to do this, or else it'll ask you for the visual verrification every time you try and add someone.

ah OK thanks for that! yep will definitely sign upp for it tomorrow when I can get a sighty to help me! sounds good. yeh, as i say, I did hear the site isn't the easiest to get around, but it can't be any worse than our schoolfriends site, or myspace *screws up face*
