so I've really stuffed up this thing now.
I went to use trekker but found that the battery loss seemed to erase the map, so, well, I decided i may as well try and reinstall the whole thing!
after various resets and stuff, I thought maybe I need to exit maestro before I do this (this is what happens when one doesn't read the entire manual first - not that I've found much more help by reading it). anyway, after a lott of fiddling and finally doing a cold reset, I am somehow sitting here with the PDA in cradle, connected to my USP port of course; it didn't ask for a partnership, even though I'd installed activesync, but i decided to try and go ahead with it anyway. now, the CDrom has the message on screen "preparing to install; this should take several minutes. I have prob been here for about an hour! me thinks something is very wrong!
and there's no-one in Melbourne to help; R is in Perth or something, so it's really fantastic! *insert sarcasm* I highly doubt I'll be able to fix this by meself with the little knowlege i have of this!
how freakin stupid? why on earth can't more than one person work in Melbourne? too ilogical I guess?!
ah well, will forget the whole stupid thing til I can get some help; no good being my usual self and getting so frustrated and upset. doesn't solve a damn thing!
I hate computers! stupid things!
til next time, a very frustrated RdFreak
