yes, that's what the postie should have done this morning instead of leaving a note to say I've got a registered mail parcel at the post office! hello! i was here!
I found this out cos dad just arrived and told me about the note at my door. I never heard any trucks (as would usually be the case with registered mail deliveries), nor did I hear a knock, at all, though thinking about it now, I may have heard something ever so softly before! *grrrr!
now I have to go out and get it! it's not too far away but I'm feeling lazy, and I would have much preferred it if he gave it to me in person.
so, this means one thing! .. I'm the proud owner of an SK-1, yeahness!
off to post office now, thanks!
til next time, RdFreak
:edit: P.S. just before I skoot off, I heard this youtube vidio on a Facebook profile.
It's a mix containing only sounds from windows XP and 98:

The only way to stop this from happening in the future in to lodge a formal omplaint against the contractor at the post office.

yeh thanks. think I may have to do that. I mean, even if they did try to knock before, it certainly wasn't too loud, and they didn't try for long at all! as you would know, I have no doorbell, or not many places to knock (except on my windows as some people do) but still, even a bang on the winscreen I didn't hear, and that is usually quite loud!
