Well not long after I finished writing the previous post, Mum came over and she gave me a parcel which had been at my door (how long? who knows!) anyway, it was the PT-180 with the "families" ROMpack. - two casios in two days! :) anyway, it looks very very good! simple setup, but very nifty! To select the different voices, there's a switch that slides about ten notches (haven't counted them, but will when I can be bothered). The drums sound quite cool - different from the other PT's I have. To play the rOM pack is the same as the PT82 and co; we slide the on/off switch down a few notches, and we can step through the melody with the two buttons also like the PT-180 and SK-8, cool!
That brings my collection up to five casios and twelve ROMpacks (well eleven really, as I'm giving one of my two christmas ROMs away since I doubled up.)
now, despite the fact I want to play some more, I better go to bed.
til next time, RdFreak
