I can't sleep and I'm having trouble breathing due to .. what I hope is not exactly turning into a cold; got a massively sore throat though and I figured, as I couldn't sleep, I will get up and muck around on here for a while. don't think i'll be at work today anyway so it doesn't matter about my temporary sleeping patterns. I just took a Panadole, so hope it kicks in soon.
i've not had a bad week really except for yesterday when I was stuck at work and my throat was turning to shite right then.
Wednesday night was full of "small worlds" and coincidences. -- first up, i was walking to SY station at about 6 and Teresa said hi to me, (the one who I just mentioned the other day in that survey that I'd lost touch with and would have loved to catch up with again.) She asked me what I was doing in the area, so upon telling her, I asked her the same question. turns out she lives there now and she grabbed my email address and we'll no doubt catch up soon, yeah! :)
I then went to sofias restaurant in camberwell for my second Phoenix event. I met up with the hoasts, who seemed lovely. and it turns out that Margaret works with R (family friend since before I was born) at Centerlink -- talk about small world! we couldn't get over it!
The place was lovely, but noisy. of course I'd been there before quite a few times, especially with young Milos during his time, as it was one of his favourites. but, I think since then, they've extended it, and/or bought out a shop next door. so yeh, it was absolutely packed and was extremely hard to hear! -- food was good though! -- Turned out John, who J and I have met before a few times, as he lives close to us and has always spoken to us, was there as a part of Phoenix too. At first, when he came to ask me if I wanted to share a cab home with him, I didnt realize he was from same group, but then afterwoods when he came to talk to me again, I realized and confirmed it! - woh!
Then the other John came up to me and exclaimed light-heartedly how pleased he was that I'd already been to two events in less than a week and that I listened to his suggestion!
Called J Tues night and all is going well.
man i'm sore and stuffed up. No talking on switchboards for me today me thinks!
til next time, RdFreak

No it wasn't me but have I told you that I once won it.
They were talking about keeping a journal and I phoned and told Neil I had an online one. He looked up my LiveJournal and read some of it out on air. I won the call bonus then the caller of the week which was a ten thousand dollar cruise. I never took the cruise though. I sold it and took the money!

I sing, too. And one of my worse nightares is when I lose my voice... I mean like completely; I remember one year, I had a solo at my school's spring concert and my voice was gone. I could barely whisper. My teacher made me sing, anyway. Grrrrrr. I couldn't.

Anyway, feel better.
