I'm currently waiting to walk down to me docs appointment; then off to work for me!
really getting into twitter now, especially at work, though the stupid loudtwit thing still aint working! *grrr i almost give up; I said almost! I will get this! I will defeat this if it kills me first!
Last night was computer users meeting. Ramona was talking about the trekker breeze. I found my braillenote, and would now like to know the whereabouts of my maestro/trekker, *grrr! honestly, why do my things so love to walk about the place? gee! going to have a search tonight, again! it is here somewhere; at least the powerpack is?
Mum's at rye and I asked her to check there, in case I did leave it there at easter?
Sstarting to contemplate my 30th. this is because I want to get as many of my overseas friends here as possible, thus, they will all be notified by email in a few days, if they haven't already been, (though only one person has so far; the one and only [livejournal.com profile] shazza59)
I plan to leave for dubai on the 6th of March, then perhaps spend a week in Germany again, a week in england and a week in ireland, before heading back to make last minute 30th plans.
I am thinking at this stage of the Chinese place near me, though P and I are going to visit in the next couple of weeks, where I can ask if they have rooms etc.
so I will go and continue my email for the morning.
til next time, RdFreak

Good luck at the doctors.
Did you hear Ernie Sigley has resigned from 3AW. He's my least favourite there. I dont think he resigned I think he was TOLD to resign cause his ratings were the worst.

thanks. got my hearing back now, so am happy bout that.
yes, I did hear about that. I haven't really heard his shows at all much, but from the bit I have, he sounded quite nice. there's a lot worse on there!

If you listened to him all the time you would know what is wrong with him. He talks about himself all the time. Everyone he interviews and every guest some how ends up talking about him. It gets very boring. He had the lowest ratings of all the shows on air.

well now you say that, I can pick him for that.
but, I truly can't imagine anyone worse than Keith Macgowan, even bruce and Phil sometimes; though they're very talented, they are very quick to ask for callers, and quicker to cut a lot of the uninteresting-to-them ones off. I actually am finding Bruce quite patronizing of late.

Oh definitely. They've got huge egos and they would rather hear themselves speak than their callers.

ah i'm so glad I'm not the only one who can see past them. everyone (on facebook and on radio) idolizes them like anything!
The only reason they ask for callers is they've prob got to meet with a certain quoter a night, so they get through them as quick as possible. not nice, especially when they claim to be family and some of them really rely on that so-called love.

If you get a chance read some of the reader comments from this article Rach. They're interesting.

the louttwitter acct was not tied to your twitter acct (for some reason, it was loaaing the authors accounts). I fixed yours by going to "change the twitter followed" and changed it to rdfreak. Maybe finally!

I was wondering if your taking your guidedog overseas? I so do the same quarintine laws apply to guide dogs as to other dogs comming back into the country?

I never take her overseas. we are allowed too in certain countries, but it would mean extra vaccinations and paperwork.

I wouldn't really know, you can try the guide Dogs Victoria site, and if that's no help, you could try the Blind Citizen's australia site; it may have some info. If not, google will help, am sure.
good luck!
