I wouldn't be against Melbourne Maniac splitting away from normal society to found a self-governed, independent territory of Melbourne. It could be called something like "The Badlands" and all the answers for life would be there.

I do not know how, but that's what I heard. something to do with the connection to the server in the U.S I guess.
Well, when you said you went to the people of Melbourne Maniac, I just thought it could be bumped up a level mentally - to the idea that Melbourne Maniac is a polis, in the ancient greek use of a word - when they believe that a polis of people is actually what makes up a town, a body politic. So if the people go somewhere - so does the polis, town or territory.... so why not take a cyber territory and polis to a real life area of confinement; eg, The Badlands.
