have a bit of time to kill before I leave for work, so going to properly update this thing a bit.
As I tried to say on those stupid phone posts sunday, after far too long, I ventured over to

rickybuchanan's abode again. I met up with

being_bec for the first time also, as well as another one of R's highschool friends. She left when I got there, (it wasn't me!)
So yeh, we all had a good chat and laugh. We left about 4.15, and I successfully made my way back to station. it all came back to me, (and, as i was trying to relate in the phone posts), I remembered, as the platforms at Balaclava have their own individual ramps back down to the street, I went a little further and found platform 2. Before this, i wanted to kill some time so I went into a CAFE on Carlisle Street and had a hot chocolate. this was because I'd arranged to meet up with P at 6 for tea.
anyway, so that was a good day!
Have been working this week; boring but fun with RB there.
Last night was a's birthday. It was different without dad, but Nan and Bec came, as well as myself, Mum and T. Twas good times actually!
Yesterday afo, on the bus at Mitcham station, we hit a fire hydren. Apparently there was a geiser of water. someone joked that it bought our levels down to 31%. the driver had to radio and let authorities know. -- that was our entertainment for the day!
Then as I was walking back, A was on her way home in car and gave me a lift. she said she'd seen all that drama!
Not going to singing tomorrow as she's doing a wedding. Not going the following week either cos of convention. will have to annoy neighbours instead. ah well, can't be much worse than that stupid yappy dog! *grrr* in fact, my singing has improved so much apparently, and i hear it myself. not as long as i thought before the cD I guess!
Am going to call flightcentre (I think) today and book my trip me thinks.
