rdfreakWell today is the day our family has been waiting for, for months! ... ... Dad returns home today, squeaeaeae!!
gosh, I've so missed him! -- seven months over the other side of the world is hard for a family member to deal with. Sure, i'm semi-use to him having to go away a lot when he frequented syd, but not this.
He comes home for three weeks.
I only wish i could go to the airport with Mum to meet him, but alas, he gets in at 11 AM, and I will be at work. But, if he's not too tired, Mum will call me and we may be able to do a dinner tonight!
the other good thing is that it's RB's second day back at work today; his first was Monday.
The not-so-good thing is that our boss will be coming out today; to collect proof of our online course, which is a good thing on the other hand, because, apparently, if we fail these online course after three tries, our passes (to get in and around our buildings) are cansiled; in other words "goodbye to us"! So, I think I will be wanting to give her proof that I've passed my course, so that, for the time being, I may remain employed!
ah well, economy is bad; any excuse to get rid of more people I guess!
I so pity anyone who's got laid off before christmas; how awful!
anyway, now i shall go! -- so can't wait to see dad! :)
