Hello from BabyCentre
Your four year old, seventh month
Your little reporter
Who, what, when, where, how, and why are the standards of a good reporter. And that's what your child is now — gathering up all the facts and turning them into stories and conversations that make sense. Non-stop questions can sometimes drive you crazy, but if you go with the flow they can also be a charming way to engage with your child, while teaching him about the workings of the world.
Shortcuts
• Read more about your preschooler this month
• Let's play: a great game or activity for you and your preschooler to play now
Head injury

• Head injury (concussion)
Talking about race
Don't be surprised when you hear your child comparing his skin colour to others. Most comments preschoolers make about appearance are innocent - they're simply describing what they see.
• How to talk to your child about race
