Before I ramble on with my week of last, I will answer this simple writer's block question:

Simple; i have by far known
jordina the longest.
I was three; she was two when we met at the Burwood campus of "THE ROYAL VICTORIAN INSTITUTE FOR THE BLIND" (now known as Vision Australia; it was 1982, and we haven't looked back since; always been the closest-ever friends, and as we've both described it more recently, more like sisters!
She originally got her LJ only to spy on me, (Lol) but, while I was off in America in 2005, she surprised me and actually started adding content to her empty blog.
So even though her updates are now few and far between, her other LJ friends and myself always look forward to an entry from her, indeed much more of a private person than I have become since I started to share my life with the world in 03! :)
This week has been rather busy compared to my usual standards!
Tuesday night was the Computer Users group, where rB and I again, did a wonderful job (if I may say so my humble self :) of setting all the audio stuff up, as well as maintaining the Ventrilo connection. -- twas a good night!
Wednesday I went into the city and met RB, where we discussed our lives some more. We were both upset again, by the end.
Thursday I of course went to work, then met up with J, K and Q, and we all went to Gail and garry's place for dinner to see Bill! man it was a good night, and so good to see them all, including bill of course, as it'd been nine years since he was here last! -- He even gave me a musical birthday card and a gift, which i certainly wasn't expecting; just goes to show what a wonderful friend he is, even though I'm terrible with keeping in contact much of the time!
Yesterday Mum took me into Boxhill hospital at 9 for my iron infusion. -- i was nervous but knew I shouldn't be.
Once the drip was hanging out of me, Mum left, and I stayed there til 4.30, amusing myself by listening to neighbours eppisodes thanks to my external drive, and laptop.
Oh, was talking to this lovely young guy in the morning who visits frequently for vitamin infusions for his Chromes disease. I enjoyed having his company in the morning before he was done, and left.
Nan had come over Thursday night as she offered to stay here with heartly.
She left last night after her, Mum and I had some Mackers for tea.
For the first hour of my infusion yesterday, my blood pressure was checked every fifteen minutes, and then it was every half hour. -- in some cases, blood pressure can lower and the pulse-rate can get too quick. But all throughout, mine was fine, and I was feeling fine, as some people can suffer from nausea.
I went to singing this morning for the first time in six weeks; was great to see her and get back into it. She was apologetic for not making my party but she wasn't very well that day.
Anyway, still don't feel like iron woman, but was told it can take up to a week for any noticeable differences.
And that's about all.
Prue's got her house warming tonight, and i may yet decide to go for a few hours, but it depends on how i feel at the time; they said to drop in whenever which is a good plan!
Think that's about all for now!
Til next time, RdFreak
P.S. Wishing my felo Aussies and kiwi's a reflective ANZAC day today!
