Well, again, subject says it; I've now got my baby Joy here with me at home.
Last night's thai dinner was an absolute blast; there was much chatting and laughter going on with all of us. I had spring rolls for starters, then chicken stir-fry with Jasmine rice for mains.
When we got back, we chatted some more, put our frontline on dogs, then i went to bed.
This morning I woke up feeling a mixture of gladness but sadness. Our family (as GinaMarie has affectionally called us) will be disbursing.
We all went for a walk with our dogs along the yarra first up, then we took our dogs down to the big exercise run and they all had a long free run.
Then once back in the lounge, Jane gave us our medallions as well as our individual GD kits. Then, Sharon was the first to leavve with Aaron, followed by myself with jun.
Once back here we found Mum who had been busy cleaning up for me. Joy showed no signs of confusion at all when we stepped into our home. I kept on welcomming her.
Jun and i then did a block walk, but he decided he'd pick another as construction was taking place on the path. So, i bought a couple of things from safeway, then lunch across the road and had that back at home. afterwoods, Jun came back and we did a different block which I was to do with her on the weekend. Can't do anything else with her yet; have to wait til next week til Jane introduces them one by one.
When we got back from walk, Jun set up Joy's new bed and left me with it. I was showing Joy around the house as if she was a person, Lol! And after she walked around a bit, i got her toy out and we had a little play with that. So now she's relaxing on her bed. she's not stressed or confused at all; bless her!
So, that's about all for now. She's home and happy and I hear my Heartly is happy too; Yeah for my happy dogs! :)
Til next time, RdFreak

Dogs have amazing ability to adapt to new situations. Joy is happy and comfortable in her new home because you are happy and comfortable at home :-) I am glad she is settling in well!

yeh, that makes sense. i guess with heartly, she knew I felt a bit unsure as she was my first dog, so she was a bit funny with settling in.
But thanks for the well wishes! :)

hugs glad all is okay

Hiya,

Congratulations on finishing your training with Joy. Glad you're both settling into your new routine and that neither of you are stressed. I look forward to hearing how you get on in the coming weeks.

*Hugs.*
