Another year-in-review meme

rdfreakHere is that "year in review" meme that's going around where I write the first sentence of my first post in the month for the past twelve of them.
1st January: Well, it's now 2009, and I didn't even get a chance to bid 2008 farewell in here, but not to worry.

loscha's latest entry, I found out that our recent heatwave has made it on the front page of wikipedia; go us!! :)
1st March: Well, the figure was seven, now it's six more LJ entries I write to reach the big 2000 milestone for this thing!
1st April: Well, today is my final full day here! kinda can't believe it, when I have just recovered pretty much from my cold; having said that, my nose was pretty blocked last night but eased up this morning, and I've still got all my sense of taste and smell back!
2nd May: Well now, I am not going to cut my writers block entry for today, because this was a subject I was going to prattle on about in here anyway.
2nd June (was a voice post): Good morning Livejournal; I decided to go ahead and make this international call to the international number because i'd assumed the Australian number doesn't really work. ...
3rd July: Hmm, the last time I posted in here was to say we were shortly off to pick up Dad from the airport. Oh, how infrequent my LJ life has become, but i always recap when I do post, so it's all good!
1st August: I had a lot more to say, but that will have to wait.
This is a quick entry before i leave for singing to say that I've heard so much about this Apple iphone that I am going to try it.
3rd September (voice post): Good morning/afternoon/evening LJ; I am, um, ringing, um, this international number ..
3rd October: I know I know; it's been a long time for an update, again. Let's just say a lot is going on in my life right now.
2nd November: My poor Heartly is now at the vet's. I took her there a bit after 7.30 whith no breakfast as required.
2nd December: Well, I found myself unable to write in here yesterday as the router didn't appear to be working; but now it seems to be, so allow me to fill this LJ in on the past 48 hours or so.
so wasn't that just so cool!
I'm going to take my Acer tonight to see if I can find any wireless somewhere at B's; prob not though; it'd be cool if I did.
