simple? simple? nothing is simple!

Random: I just love it when my email program (eudora) notifies me with it's cute little audio tune, of an email, only to discover all five of them are spam! yeah!
Now to the subject line, *sigh*
I decided today since it's forecast 34 degrese, I will take Joy for a walk in the morning; even if I'm not working, I want to walk her several times a day. anyway, the simple walk around the block I thought of this morning was never to be so simple! Every freakin man and his dog were out in full force with trucks, and even what it felt like full-blown fences (don't ask), Obscuring my path. Haven't got a clue what they're doing in the street off canterbury road that I walked down, but I know our safeway is being extended, therefore there's trucks and all sorts of things going on in the carpark near my block of units!
Life wasn't meant to be easy. *sigh*
But i went to the bakery and got a salad roll to have for lunch later.
And i forgot to mention yesterday, I finally ordered a furminator from my vets. The boy, plus heaps of other guide dog clients have done nothing but rave about them, and though it's a controversial issue when it comes down to how much it should be used, from the experience I've had with it, it does seem to get so much unwanted hair out. And I did ask the vet yesterday, and the groomers recommended it. So I'm waiting on a call to go pick it up today.
And, i called GD today and the volunteer co-ordinator thought it might be a bit tricky for me since the runs in the kennles are at different levels and the OH&S with my no useable vision, but she suggested I talk to my instructor and see what she suggests! Maybe I can try the RSPCA or even the lost Dog's home I was thinking; I wanna work with animals!
So since it'd be prob too hot to venture out later, i'll now wait til after Doctor Phil is finished at 1 before I work on some more job applications.
I applied for one at NMIT yesterday which sounds just awesome; hope I hear from them!

Furminator
Date: 2010-02-02 01:05 am (UTC)I've got a Furminator for Rems and it's fantastic! I've had it for about 2 years now and it works a treat. I think initially in the beginning perhaps you could use it twice a week, but eventually you can get it down to once a week, or even once a fortnight after you've used it for a few weeks.
*Hugs.*

Date: 2010-02-02 01:35 am (UTC)I'm just aware of how sharp it is though; I'm just scared I may accidently cut her or something.
