Subject: A Hoyts Conference Package Could Be Yours! WA Business Events Calendar
Dear Rachel,
The Perth Convention Bureau (PCB) is a not-for-profit organisation funded by government and industry to promote Perth and Western Australia as a business events destination. We have been helping associations, corporations and agents bring their national and international conference and incentive groups to WA for more than 30 years. Offering a wide range of services including financial assistance, promotional support and advice, we provide organisers with all the necessary tools to successfully secure and stage a business event in WA 'The space to connect'.
We are currently collecting information for our WA Events Calendar which is a comprehensive listing of all future state, national and international business events that have been confirmed for Perth and Western Australia.
If you are organising an event to take place in Western Australia in the future, we would love to hear from you! (Please be advised that PCB does not take commissions and therefore any information submitted will not attract any fees or charges.)
Even if you are not currently organising an event to take place in Western Australia but would consider it for future events, you can still submit information and enter the competition.
Your contribution is extremely valuable and ensures Western Australia maximises its potential as a business tourism destination by producing a range of valuable statistics that highlight our state's ability and potential.
Every event entry goes in the draw for a fantastic Hoyts Conference Package valued at over $5000!*
Simply click here to complete the online form by Monday 22 March 2010 to be in the running!
Thank you for your support and we look forward to hearing from you.
Kind Regards,
The Perth Convention Bureau Team

speaking of Perth, I had a brilliant idea of catching the train up there with Joy; what a cool experience that would be; I kinda love long train trips, especially if I get a sleeper cabbin. Unfortunately, it's free for us blindies to travel to Adelaide but not Perth I don't think. anyway will call Vline when i return from Dubai.

Date: 2010-03-04 12:34 am (UTC)I'm not sure about taking a dog. My SEDA instructor I heard tell someone that it would be OK for the dog, but I don't know how the company themselves feel about it.
Also I don't actually know waht Victorians are entitled to, I would be curious if you find that out. Had thought of it as a possibility for Will and I to go to Perth some time.

Date: 2010-03-04 12:43 am (UTC)I would think they'd need to be accepting guide dogs as every place has to by law; if not, it's all about education, I guess. -- the general rule is that we would give them a chance to toilet at each stop and of course I've heard that in other cases, the staff are usually pretty helpful. :)
