I not long ago got back from colingwood where i had the interview; It went quite well. Not just because of my usual confidence factor but they were talking in front of me about possibilities of projects that would hopefully be more accessable with jaws; This was of course after our group interview and then my showing them how jaws works with my Acer.
Man i'm hopeful; hopeful hopeful hopeful!
The others will hear back by the end of the week, but as my project could be different, I could possibly hear back later on.
Now for another group interview tomorrow evening; at least it's not as far.
Til Next time, RdFreak

Thanks darlin; will just feel way too good to get back into the workforce again. I always have needed to feel like I'm doing something productive. :)

I'm trying to find a job that will give me decent hours, and I know how you feel. But don't ever feel you're not being productive because you're not working...I'm struggling with that feeling myself, and it sucks.

yes, it's hard, but I feel a bit better knowing that I'm trying my best with all these applications.
I know we're not practicing what we preach ourselves, but you try and not feel unproductive either. You've certainly worked longer than I have. Best of luck to you as well. :)

Hi, Rachel! I'm glad to read here that the group interview you took part in went well, and that it's possible you might be able to work on projects with that employer where the programs you use will hopefully be accessible with JAWS. All the best for your next interview!

As far as feeling unproductive when you're unemployed, I join the previous commenter in understanding how you feel and reminding you that "unemployed" isn't the same as "unproductive", even though I certainly know where you're coming from when you feel like that, because I've sometimes felt like that myself.

Thanks Clare.
Yeh, It is hard when we don't have a job and all our friends are talking about their work and how weekends to them are days they look forward too. Weekends don't mean a thing for non-workers like us. Lol!
But, and again, I'm not practicing what I preach, but you also shouldn't feel un-productive; I know you're trying your best to find work and that is the main thing. :)
